Safe in Nairobi

Jambo all!

We have arrived safely in Nairobi and are settling in at the airport for a long haul.  It is 10 p.m. local time and we don't fly out until 10:40 a.m. tomorrow.  For now, some team members are filling up with some scrumptious Kenyan coffee and then eventually we will try and find a piece of floor to lay our heads for the night (or try and re-arrange some furniture without being noticed!).We have our boarding passes already for Tanzania and come morning we will fly through to Mwanza and then travel by car to Igoma.  In total we will have been traveling for 36 hours or more.  Phew.

Please continue to pray over our bags that they will make it safely through to Mwanza all together and with nothing removed.  They are filled with medications and medical supplies - there is a great need and we just want them to get through to the people, instead of getting caught up in customs somewhere.  So...may we see more answered prayers tomorrow!

Goodnight from Nairobi!

  1. I have been following you on flightstats and knew you had landed but it is good to hear your "voice". Lizzy is doing well. She and I went over to the park after church and she did her business so that makes me an official dogwalker! She loves her new stuffies. We continue to pray for the team and especially the luggage.
