April 18th, Part One: The Beauty of Fray Martin

I honestly don't remember how far upriver we went from Centro America to get to Fray Martin. I will say though that it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Fray Martin is a larger community than Centro America and there are actually some tourist huts that have been built here. You'll see in some of the pictures below more of a sense of "outside contact".

Achiote plant
Seeing the mountains was spectacular!

"Aqua Jal" grouping of palms.

A down moment to be more artistic! (rarely did I have one!) We were waiting for the last of the crew to arrive before we left Fray Martin, just as the sun was setting.
The view of the Paranapura River from Fray Martin.
This is actually a really nice hut! Notice the size of it and the stair case!
Sunset on the Paranapura.
