Something more to chew on...

I wanted to share this video with you from youtube.  We watched it together in Haiti.  In many ways it connects to the article I linked to below, from The Nation.  It's about 24 minutes long, but I would encourage you to take the time to watch it.  It raises more questions and brings about an awareness to life in Haiti that main stream media is not generally covering.  The title is "Fault Lines - Haiti: The Politics of Rebuilding", brodcasted on the English Al Jazeera network (yes, Al Jazeera!...apparently the english version has many former CBC reporters on it. It's exceptionally well done).

Up earlier than anticipated this morning, but anxious to get to the airport and head home.  Feels strange to wake and not have the rest of the team with us.  Janine and I are still together but the rest flew out early this morning to the western parts of Canada.  We were a great team together...a lot of laughs, a lot of funny moments, a repsect for each other skills and strengths and weaknesses.  Missing the MCC'ers in Haiti...we felt their absence with us last night around the dinner table (:
