Since returning to Ontario, I've been working with Mennonite Central Committee, Ontario to put some storytelling to video, in terms of our Canada wide Medical Team's work in Haiti. Myself and Janine, the other RN from Ontario that came to Haiti, have been in and did some storytelling on tape and that video is still in the works. They also wanted to record "Magdalene's Story"...the blog entry I wrote about one of the Haitian mothers I met at Hopital Espoir in Port Au Prince. I think they did a marvelous editing job and the results are below. I find it very moving to see Magdalene's story continue on...it is an essential reminder of life in Haiti that carries on...the reality of it, the pain of it, and somewhere in there the hope of it as well.
